Guatemala’s Electric Company (EEGSA) has announced it is preparing three calls for tenders for energy projects.
The first call for tender is for a project lasting for a period of one year from May 2019, and providing 71MW. The second and third projects, of an unspecified energy production, are for a period of four years from May 2020, and fifteen years from 2024, respectively.
The call for tenders is open to all types of energy and electricity production.
“What we are looking for is competitiveness in price”, said EEGSA’s Manager, Jorge Alonso.
