The Government of Piauí, Brazil, has signed an MoU with Coensa Planned Constructions Ltd. and Prosolar Solar Energy Generator Ltd. to launch a large-scale solar energy project in the state. The initiative is expected to potentially attract over USD$1 billion in private investments and create thousands of direct and indirect jobs during construction, operation, and maintenance phases.
