Government of Ceará and Qair Brasil sign agreement to develop renewable energy projects with an investment of almost $7B

Governor Camilo Santana signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Ceará department and the multinational Qair Brasil for the development of a green hydrogen production plant with electricity generated through the Wind Complex Marítimo Dragão do Mar and an offshore wind energy park. The total planned investment is US$ 6.95 billion, generating 2,000 jobs during the construction of the plants and 600 direct jobs when the projects are fully operational.
