Fortaleza will be the first Brazilian city to power public transport by green hydrogen

With the Green Hydrogen Hub of Ceará, the state government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement the use of vehicles for public transport powered by fuel produced from renewable energy. The Spanish company Neoenergia will be responsible for the project called “Corredor Verde”. Fortaleza will receive the pilot project and the plan is for it to have it 18 refueling points of clean energy. With this, the capital of Ceará will be the first city in Brazil to use fuel cell bus technology.
