Engie SA has secured up to US$600 million in financing from the IFC to support renewable energy expansion and decarbonization efforts in Peru. The first US$120 million will come from a green, sustainability-linked loan tied to targets for renewables growth, climate adaptation, and gender diversity in management. The funds will also support the Intipampa solar expansion, refinancing of the Duna and Huambos wind farms, and part of the Chilca battery storage project.
