Enel Green Power has begun construction on the 254 MW Ituverava solar farm in Bahia, Brazil, at a cost of US$400 million, with completion expected by the end of 2017. The project is backed by a 20-year PPA with Brazil’s CCEE and is part of EGP’s 553 MW of solar contracts won in Brazil’s August auction.
