El Salvador recently announced its aim to attract more investments, especially from India, in its renewable energy sector through a package of tax benefits and incentives.
El Salvador Ambassador to India, Ariel Andrade Galindo, said “We are looking to collaborate in solar energy. India is becoming one of the largest countries with lots of expertise in solar energy.”
The Ambassador also emphasised El Salvador’s commitment to change their energy mix to include more clean and sustainable energy sources, and how international collaboration was key to the development of the sector.
