Dominica is progressing with its first geothermal power project, with site preparation for the 10 MW plant underway. Construction is expected to begin by early 2025, following the completion of excavation work. The government has signed an agreement with Ormat Technologies Inc. to finance, operate, and maintain the plant, with ownership transferring to the government after 25 years.
