Grupo Empresarial Agua y Saneamiento, the Cuban state company in charge of supplying drinking water and the island’s sewage network, announced they will install photovoltaic energy equipment in eight provinces to be used for water pumping. The project will save 7.1 GW to the National Electric System (SEN).
