The organizers of the Cuban Energy & Infrastructure Summit are pleased to announce the support of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba. The Chamber of Commerce is a strong advocate for international investment both from the US and from other long term partners in Latin America and Europe. Recently the Chamber’s President, Mr. Orlando Hernández Guillén, stated that “The United States is the natural market for our country.” He went on to say, however, that investments must be carefully scrutinized to ensure that they are in line with national interests and that they respect Cuba’s sovereignty.
