Cuba has inaugurated its first photovoltaic project with integrated battery storage, the 5 MW “Mayor General Ángel del Castillo Agramonte” solar park in Ciego de Ávila. A donation from China, the project improves grid stability by enabling voltage regulation and providing localized power supply during contingencies.
