Michael Kopenhagen is Director Asset Management at MPC and joined beginning of 2021. Previously, he was Plant Director at the chemical Group CIECH S.A., leading the company’s energy division with various production sites in Europe. Michael Kopenhagen has more than 9 years of experience in the technical and commercial operation, energy trading, the portfolio management of energy production sites, with overall 200 MW installed capacity. He holds a diploma in Business Administration and Engineering with a focus on Energy economics and power generation technologies from Ott von Guericke University, Germany. Michael´s holistic asset management approach includes the focus on ESG for projects and stakeholders.
