Kathryn Funk

Kathryn Funk has worked for the World Bank for 28 years, since 1993. She has designed and managed rural development and microfinance projects in the Balkans (Albania and Bosnia-Herzegovina), and has led preparation of World Bank country strategies in the Balkans, Iraq, East Africa, and China. She is currently Operations Manager for the Caribbean Region. Prior to joining the World Bank, Ms. Funk worked for five years as an economic advisor to the Government of Puerto Rico. She has bachelor’s degrees in both economics and political science from the University of California Berkeley and a master’s degree in international relations and economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
