Isaac Solomon

Mr. Isaac Solomon is the Vice-President (Operations) at the Caribbean Development Bank. In that position, he provides leadership and direction to the Economics and Projects Departments and the Corporate Strategy Division. In addition, he spearheads the Bank’s engagement with its borrowing members and development partners.
Prior to joining CDB, Mr. Solomon was Managing Director for the Eastern Caribbean at RBC Royal Bank. He has also served in senior positions with the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank and the Government of St Vincent & the Grenadines. He has held directorships on the boards of various institutions across the Region, including regional airline LIAT and the Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Authority (ECTEL).

He has a long history of community involvement and served as District Governor for District 60B (Jamaica – Grenada) in 2014/15 for the International Association of Lions Clubs. In his more recent roles, he has provided strong leadership and support to multi-jurisdictional and multi-functional teams.

Mr. Solomon holds a MSc. degree in Financial Management from the University of London’s Centre for International Education in Economics and a BSc. (Hons.) degree from the University of the West Indies in Management. He also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. He is passionate about Caribbean development in all of its dimensions.
