New Energy, organizers of the Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF), is pleased to announce the 4th CREF Industry Awards to recognize excellence across clean energy programs and projects in the Caribbean. In recognition of the fact that no awards were made in 2021 the Awards this year will reflect a two-year time span.
Awards will be made by the CREF Awards Advisory Committee across the following categories:
- Best Utility Scale Project
- Best Distributed Generation Project
- Best Microgrid Project
- Best Financing
- Best E-Mobility Project
- Best Energy Resilience Project
- Best C&I Project
- Best Energy Efficiency Project
- Best Energy Storage Project
- Energy Leadership MVP
- Best Green Hydrogen Project or Program
- Best Clean Energy Policy or Program
- Best Climate Finance Initiative
- Best ESG-Optimized Project
New categories for 2022 reflect the increasing significance of ESG, resilience and climate finance to the regional dialogue.
Industry awards will be judged across a series of criteria, including innovative approaches to development, value to investors and customers, and social and environmental impact.
All entries must be made via the CREF Project Award submission form, here. All submissions must be received by March 11, 2022. The Awards will be announced at CREF 2022 (Miami, April 26-28).
