Cox has secured a 15-year electricity-supply contract in Guatemala for a new battery energy storage project with 76 MW of generation capacity and 27 MW of awarded capacity. The contract represents approximately US$126.5 million in revenues over its first 15 years and is designed to serve peak demand, improve grid flexibility and support greater renewable-energy integration.
