Costa Rica used 98.8% renewable power so far in 2015

A report published by the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE) earlier this month stayed that 98.82% of Costa Rica’s electricity for 2015 has come from renewable energy sources – namely hydro, geothermal and wind power. The country has operated on renewables-only for 255 our of 310 days in the year so far.
