A new 50-MW hydroelectric plant in Costa Rica will reprocess water discharged from two existing hydropower plants.
According to Salvador Gabarro of Gas Natural Fenosa, the company that won the bid to from the ICE to develop the project in 2008,
“This power plant represents the efforts of our energy group to bring continuity to investments in the country, and is another example of our interest in contributing to the economic, energy and social development of this region.”
