Colombia’s third renewable energy auction drew interest from 107 companies seeking pre-qualification, SIN grid operator XM Compania de Expertos en Mercados, which is organizing the event, has said. Of the total, 55 companies have registered as off-takers, with 52 participants vying to sell power from non-conventional renewable energy sources. The deadline to register on the auction platform expired on August 27.
