Colombia launches first solar project for vulnerable communities

Colombia has inaugurated its first solar installation for vulnerable populations in Tierralta, Córdoba. Led by the Ministry of Mines and Energy and Fenoge, the project aims to reduce electricity bills by up to 15% for 500 low-income families. It is part of a broader plan to install 14 solar farms across the region to expand energy access and ease tariff burdens.
