Colombia installs 42 solar-powered wells to improve rural water access in Córdoba

Colombia’s Regional Autonomous Corporation of the Sinú and San Jorge Valleys (CVS) has delivered 42 solar-powered deep wells in Córdoba to improve rural access to drinking water. The initiative uses photovoltaic systems to ensure reliable water supply, particularly during severe droughts. This project strengthens resilience in vulnerable communities while promoting renewable energy use.
