COFIDES provides US$40 million financing for Peru’s 396 MW Illa solar project in Arequipa

Spain’s COFIDES is providing US$40 million in financing for the 396 MW Illa solar project in Peru’s Arequipa region. The Illa solar plant, expected to be completed in 2026, is Peru’s largest planned solar facility and has already created over 600 jobs during development.
