The Chilean government, the European Union, and OLADE have launched a project aimed at strengthening Latin America’s capacity to meet international standards for certifying low- or zero-emission hydrogen and its derivatives for export. This initiative focuses on boosting the clean energy market in the region by identifying regulatory requirements and standards through workshops and technical exchanges among energy ministries in Chile, Argentina, Colombia, and Panama. The project will culminate in the development of a roadmap for the certification of renewable hydrogen and its derivatives in the region.
