Cemento Polpaico and Colbún have developed Chile’s largest private solar self-generation park at the Cerro Blanco cement plant. The 9.9 MWp facility, comprising 15,000 solar panels, will generate around 20 GWh annually and cover approximately 12% of the company’s electricity demand, helping enable its operations to run on 100% renewable electricity when combined with contracted renewable power.
