Martin is a Professional Engineer (Ontario) and a Chartered Engineer (UK) with over 35 years’ experience in waste management. His resume includes 3 ½ years as the Assistant Director – Solid Waste with the department of Environmental Health in Cayman islands, 5 ½ years as Manager of Solid Waste in Bermuda, and he is currently working on the Integrated Solid Waste Management System (ISWMS), a PPP project between Decco Consortium and the Cayman Islands Government. The ISWMS project will include an Energy Recovery Facility to substantially reduce the current reliance on landfill for waste disposal.
