The 5th Caribbean Infrastructure Forum (CARIF 2021) went virtual for 2021, with an online program from March 24-26.
Co-hosted by New Energy Events, the organizers of CREF, and IJGlobal, the infrastructure arm of Euromoney Institutional Investor and supported by Title Sponsors CIBC FirstCaribbean and KPMG, CARIF took place against a backdrop of unprecedented disruption across the regional economy. As we looked ahead to a post-Covid future, one question loomed largest: “How do we invest to revitalize?”
CARIF 2021 came to you this year on a sophisticated online conference platform, with powerful tools that enabled not just the gathering of intelligence, but real opportunities for networking. With attendance from market participants from around the world, we saw the power of the virtual platform and its ability to convene.
CARIF 2021 convened the region’s public sector, utilities, financiers, project sponsors and investors to map out the region’s infrastructure needs, foster new relationships, and introduce Caribbean projects to international sources of expertise and financing.
