Kirk Outerbridge is the Chief Engineer for the Ministry of Public Works in Bermuda. He is a mechanical engineer by training and a registered Professional Engineer in both Bermuda and Canada. Mr. Outerbridge has over twenty years of experience in the Waste Industry, including fifteen years directly managing the island’s Waste-to-Energy Facility on behalf of the government. With Bermuda having the only utility scale waste-to-energy plant operating in the Caribbean, Mr. Outerbridge hopes to bring a unique, firsthand perspective on Waste-to-Energy and its impact on waste management within the context of an island nation.
