Senior Director, Global Infrastructure & Project Finance
Emma W. Griffith is a Senior Director and the Head of Surveillance in Fitch Ratings’ Global Infrastructure and Project Finance Group, where she leads seaport coverage in the U.S. Emma joined Fitch in 2009 and is based in New York City.
Emma covers a variety of transportation and infrastructure transactions including airports, seaports, toll roads, and public-private partnerships (P3s). Emma has served as lead analyst on major U.S. ports including the Ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach, Seattle, Virginia, and Miami, among others.
Prior to joining Fitch Ratings, Emma spent five years in Morgan Stanley’s Transportation and Infrastructure investment banking team, where she covered corporate clients in the airport, aviation, seaport, and shipping spaces in both Europe and the Americas.
Emma received a Master’s degree in Economics from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris, France. She is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business, where she received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and a BA from the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition, she is a member of the Municipal Analysts Group of New York. In 2017, she was named a “Rising Star” by the Bond Buyer.
