Regional Economic Adviser, Caribbean Country Department
David Rosenblatt is the Regional Economic Adviser for the Caribbean Country Department at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). In this role, David leads a team of economists covering macroeconomic prospects and development strategies in six countries: The Bahamas, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago. Prior to joining the IDB, David worked at the World Bank for 27 years, splitting that period between work on Latin American and the Caribbean region and the Chief Economist’s office, where he served six different Chief Economists. David holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and B.A. in Mathematics from Pomona College.
