Transport Policy Advisor


Andrea is a transport policy advisor for the German Cooperation for International Development (GIZ) with 15 years of experience in the promotion of low carbon transport. Since 2017 she has been working in Costa Rica providing technical assistance to the government in various topics including e-mobility, urban mobility and freight transport in order to pave the decarbonization pathway. Prior to moving to Latin America, she gained working experiences in South-East Asia, South Africa, Australia and Germany. She holds a master’s degree in spatial and environmental planning. Her motivation is to support the global transition of the transport sector that is urgently needed to limit climate change while improving the life quality worldwide.
