Dr. the Hon. William Duguid is the Senior Minister Infrastructure and Planning in the Office of the Prime Minister of Barbados. Prior to this role, Dr. Duguid has served as Minister of Housing and Lands; Minister of Transport, Works and Maintenance and has held several roles in the ruling Barbados Labor Party including serving as First and Second Vice President and General Secretary. Dr. Duguid has also served as Chairman of the Bayview Hospital, and the National Petroleum Corporation of Barbados. Prior to becoming a Member of Parliament in 2003, Dr. Duguid a Fellow of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, Republic of Ireland served as Registrar and House Officer of Royal Gwent Hospital Wales, UK; and in the private sector as a Director of Tenax Central Corporation and Pine Dental Services as owner/practitioner.
