The Buenos Aires City Government has announced plans to install 400 electric vehicle charging stations over the next two years as part of its Electromovilidad Porteña program. The initiative will deploy 200 chargers in public areas and 200 in private spaces with public access, in partnership with private companies that will handle costs and maintenance. The city aims to become a regional leader in EV infrastructure, with all chargers required to provide real-time availability through a mobile app and meet minimum power standards for faster charging.
