Brazil’s government is pushing a multi‑pronged energy transition plan that includes incentives for nuclear power, biofuels and energy storage. Under the initiative, green hydrogen, strategic minerals, and advanced storage technologies are elevated as priority sectors. Brazil aims to expand use of bio‑fuels in transportation (including aviation), deploy large scale batteries and storage systems to support variable renewables, and strengthen its nuclear programme and R&D base to ensure energy security and decarbonisation.
