Brazil allocates 228 MW of grid capacity to data center projects in first competitive process

Brazil’s National Electric System Operator (ONS) allocated 228 MW of transmission-grid access capacity to three data center projects in São Paulo under the country’s first competitive access process for large electricity consumers. The capacity was awarded to projects associated with Pahlavan Ventures One, Pahlavan Ventures Three and Digital DC Brasil. The process marks a step toward managing growing electricity demand from data centers through a more structured and competitive grid-access framework.
