Bermuda’s Regulatory Authority has launched a tender process for up to 10 MW of floating solar, which could be developed at one large site or across multiple smaller locations. The projects will connect to the island’s 22 kV grid, with the process unfolding in three phases: an expression of interest now, requests for qualification in early 2026, and final competitive bidding beginning in 2027. A winning bidder is expected to be announced in early 2028.
