The Regulatory Authority of Bermuda (RA) has launched the procurement process for the island’s first offshore wind project, targeting up to 120 MW of renewable energy. The project will be developed in phases, starting with 60 MW, and will be located off Bermuda’s north shore. To support the project, the RA will commission further studies, including seabed assessments and wind metocean measurement campaigns.
