In an address last week in London, Bahamas Prime Minister Perry Christine encouraged global investors to consider the Caribbean, saying that “the climate is indeed ripe for inward investment in the Caribbean.”
He added that efforts in Barbados and across the region to implement reforms and promote investment have had the effect of “strengthening of compliance and continues redress of social ills in the wake of the global economic crisis.”
