Argentina launches 700 MW national battery storage tender under AlmaSADI program

Argentina’s energy secretariat has launched the AlmaSADI programme, an international tender seeking 700 MW of new battery storage capacity across the national grid. Projects must provide at least four hours of continuous power, with individual plants ranging from 10 MW to 150 MW, and will be allocated to regions outside the Buenos Aires metro area based on grid reliability needs.
