Argentina has launched a 500 MW battery energy storage auction to strengthen the electricity grid in Buenos Aires’ metropolitan area (AMBA). With an estimated US$500 million investment and an execution timeline of 12 to 18 months, the project aims to enhance energy reliability, particularly during peak demand.
