Argentina has awarded 700MW of battery energy storage systems (BESS) through its nationwide AlmaSADI tender, selecting 20 projects from 235 bids totaling 8.3GW. Genneia secured the largest share with 421MW across seven projects, while the average awarded price was significantly lower than last year’s tender, reflecting growing competition and continued momentum for energy storage development in the country.
