Aluar Aluminio Argentino SAIC is set to invest US$400 million in expanding its wind farm in the Chubut province. The current 246 MW wind farm will be increased by 336 MW. The expansion, expected to be completed by the end of 2026, will boost the farm’s total capacity to 582 MW across 200 square km, roughly the size of Buenos Aires.
