The Government of Ceará in Brazil recently signed an MOU with AES Brazil that aims to increase investments in the state’s green hydrogen sector. The MOU was the 14th signed by Ceará in this rapidly emerging market, and will lead to the construction of a green hydrogen production plant in the Pecem industrial and port complex. AES will also focus on the development of an ammonia storage pool to be developed and implemented in the hub.
