IDB Invest backs Guyana broadband expansion with up to US$40 million

IDB Invest and IDB Lab are backing One Communications’ expansion of fibre, mobile and digital-finance services in Guyana with up to US$40 million. The project targets fibre coverage of more than 80% of premises alongside 4.5G/5G upgrades.
