Jamaica prepares 300 MW renewables and 150 MW storage procurement

Jamaica’s Generation Procurement Entity says its forthcoming technology-neutral RFP will seek up to 300 MW of renewable generation plus 150 MW of battery storage under a build-own-operate structure. The procurement is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
