Dewhurst Group has formalized the exploration phase of its Cóndor Paipa geothermal project in Boyacá, covering a 9.98 km² area under Colombia’s first geothermal exploration permit granted to a private company. The project represents potential investment of up to US$180 million and is planned to include geothermal power generation, a center of excellence and development under a public-private partnership model.
