Colombia has concluded its Clean Energy Procurement Auction, awarding 995 MW of new solar capacity and nearly 100 MW of battery storage under 15-year contracts that begin in 2030. The auction is expected to supply around 3% of the country’s regulated electricity demand while supporting the expansion of clean energy and grid reliability.
