Trinidad and Tobago has signed agreements with U.S.-based Hummingbird AI Holdings and Ernst & Young to advance plans for large-scale AI data centers totaling up to 450 MW of capacity. The projects mark the first such partnerships in the Caribbean and are expected to support digital infrastructure development while raising questions about future energy demand and environmental impacts.
