Elea Data Centers has signed a seven-year renewable power purchase agreement with Axia Energia to support the development of BEL1, the first carrier-neutral, AI-ready data center in Brazil’s Amazon region. Scheduled to begin operations in the second quarter of 2027, the project will launch with 5MW of IT capacity, backed by three international anchor customers, with plans to expand to as much as 100MW.
