Elea Data Centers and Rio de Janeiro’s city government have signed a new memorandum of understanding to advance the “Rio AI City” project, an initiative aimed at developing an artificial intelligence infrastructure hub in the city. The agreement follows a US$550 million investment tied to Elea’s expansion under global infrastructure investor I Squared Capital.
