Colombia’s Firm Energy Obligations auction awarded 4,069.7 MW of new capacity for delivery between 2029 and 2030, including 1,546.9 MW of solar power across 29 projects. The results also allocated wind, hydro, and thermal capacity, with solar projects developed by multiple major players such as Enel Colombia, Celsia, AES, and ERCO Generación.
